PAST SIMPLE (AFFIRMATIVE) - READ AND LEARN!

USE

We use the Past Simple to talk about
actions which happened in the past and
are finished.
 Yesterday she played tennis.
We often use the Past Simple with
the following “time guides”.
 ago / yesterday / last night / last
month / last year

FORM
To make the Past Simple of regular verbs
in the positive form, we add –ed to the
infinitive of the verb.
1- Yesterday Mark did many things.

If the verb ends in a consonant and –y we
change the –y to –i and add –ed.
