You can use Vienna Instruments on your Mac or PC in three ways:

As a plug-in in our included mixing and host software Vienna Ensemble, in Vienna Ensemble PRO 5, or any other
host application
As a plug-in in your sequencer – e.g., Cubase, Logic, Digital Performer, Pro Tools etc. – or notation software (e.g.,
Sibelius, Finale, Notion)

As a simple stand-alone application.

Installation:

Step 1: Download the latest version of the eLicenser Control Center and trasfer your Vienna license(s) to your ViennaKey
or other eLicenser device.
Step 2: Download and install the Vienna Instruments software (the most current version can be downloaded from the User
Area of the Vienna Symphonic Library website).

Below is an overview showing the key features of the current versions of Vienna's free software player Vienna Instruments
as well as the optional Vienna Instruments PRO.

Important Note: The new Vienna Instruments player has replaced the former Vienna Instruments “Legacy” software in its
latest version (4). In addition to Vienna Instruments Player, Vienna Ensemble is now installed automatically when running
the Vienna Instruments installer. Users who install the latest version of Vienna Ensemble PRO 5 need to install Vienna
Instruments and/or Vienna Instruments PRO separately.
