On line booking of retiring rooms :-

The facility of on line booking of retiring room is available at Jabalpur, Bhopal & Kota stations of West Central Railway.
Passenger has to approach at specified counter for booking. The retiring rooms of these stations and all other stations (where
the on line booking of retiring room facility is available) can be booked from this system in advance upto the advance
reservation period. The charges for the booking are to be paid at the time of booking and a ticket is being issued. for example
:-
A passenger reserving tickets at Jabalpur or New Delhi station for journey to Bhopal can book retiring room for Bhopal at
Jabalpur or New Delhi station itself by quoting PNR No. of the ticket to the matron of the retiring room of the respective
stations.
Passenger can book retiring room for 12 or 24 hours as per the requirement and the charges are collected accordingly.
Passenger has to produce the valid journey ticket for booking of retiring room along with a valid ID proof the copy of same is
to be deposited at the booking counter.

This system also enables the passengers to know the vaccancy position of retiring rooms at various location where on line
booking was already been commissioned. Some of the stations where this facility is available are Bhopal, Kota, Jabalpur,
Mumbai CST, Mumbai Central, Bandra Terminus, Nagpur, Shimla, New Delhi, Amritsar, Jammutawi, Banaras, Lucknow,
Haridwar, Chennai Central, Chennai Egmore, Madurai, Banglore.

Retiring Room Accomodation Rules at all other stations where on line booking of retiring room facility has not been
provided
AC and Non AC Retiring rooms and dormitories are provided at several important stations over West Central Railway, which
can be booked on "First cum First serve" basis on payment of prescribed charges. Only valid ticket holders for an
Outward/Invward journey are eligible to apply for the use of retiring rooms and dormitory beds. Application is to be made to
the Station Master/In charge of the retiring room/dormitories. Passenger should produce the jouney ticket alongwith the
application.
The vacancy position of retiring room/dormitory can be ascertained from the Station Master/Incharge of the retiring room.

General Rules for Booking of Retiring Rooms

1. The maximum number of days allowed for stay is 2 days only.
2. The charges will be collected for the full day irrespective of period of stay.
3. In case of the retiring room is occupied for more than one day, the charge from the subsequent day will be 25% more for
each day, subject to the availability of vacant room.
4. While vacating the room, passenger has to inform the in charge or care taker and hand over the keys.
