citric acid, 1/2 cup (60 grams) corn starch. 20 milliliters fragrance oil, 10 milliliters polysorbate 80, 10 milliliters surfactant (coco betaine). Mix dry & wet ingredients together separately. Slowly add wet into dry while whisking. Divide the mix. To the exterior, or "slow foaming" mix add 1/4 cup sodium lauryl sulfoacetate (40 grams) [or sodium lauryl sulfate or sodium cocoyl isethionate]. To the interior, or "vigorous" mix add 1/4 cup guar gum (40 grams) [or xanthan gum]. This is going to make the bubbles just a bit bigger. You can actually just add more baking soda, corn starch, or citric acid. You can divide both batches into how many colors you want. Mold the bath bombs. Dry 24 hours. This recipe makes 14 2" bath bombs. SUBSTITUTIONS: You may replace any dry mix for the same amount of baking soda or corn starch. You may replace liquid ingredients with carrier oil, water, fragrance oil, etcetera. I made my own color powder using water soluble dyes (linked below).
