JABEZ
 Jabez is only mentioned in a few verses of scripture and is known for his
famous “Prayer of Jabez” mentioned in 1 Chronicles 4:10:
And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “ Oh, that You would bless me
indeed , and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that
You would keep me form evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted
him what he requested.
 Ang kanyang pamilya ay nabura mula sa kasaysayan ng Israel. At kahit
ganoon ang nangyari, his prayer appeared in listing the members of the tribe
of Judah.
 He was conceived in pain (1 Chronicles 4:9) but delivered in victory.
 He is a guy who has a horrible past and no hope of a future. He is a man who
struggles in life to find purpose and meaning. He is a man that his fellow
man desperately accepts. But he’s mainly a guy who wants to connect to
God.

Application
Don’t hesitate and trust without withholding God’s response. He’s willing to
hear our cries and answer our needs (Philippians 4:19). If we inquire, we’ll have
to. If not sooner then later, God’s answers will come; if not in the way we want,
then in the way that God has decided is best (Luke 18:1-7). Happiness results
from praying steadfastly/faithfully! God gave everything that he wanted to
Jabez and so with you. He had prosperity in life; evil was warded off; he was
blessed richly by Heaven! Your life is already secured. Have faith in God.
