Fiona’s experience was parallel to mine because we both enjoyed our college years despite the
hardships that we were facing. It may not be easy but with the help of the friends and our family we still
managed to finish it. The campus life was a roller-coaster ride where we face different emotions and
encounter a lot of circumstances. Yet, we still managed to overcome it. There are problems in family,
housing, sometimes teachers and subjects and with me. I tend to get confused at first due to my family’s
influence that I cannot decide to take but eventually with more guidance from my trusted persons I was
able to achieve my goal to finish my degree. The college life experience is absolutely unique. Goofing
around with my pals is undoubtedly one of my most frequent college recollections. I recall how we went
around campus in style, pulling pranks on one another. People constantly reminisce about their time at
the college canteen. Every student's favorite hangout spot, where they could dine and socialize with
their peers.
. Fiona's fortitude helps her stay grounded in the face of life's frequent and unpredictable upheavals.
Her sadness is palpable; for youngsters, losing adored pets is painful at best. It's especially heartbreaking
to see Fiona having to leave Regis, Hogan, and Rudy behind with little explanation or given away in the
case of her cherished poodle by a mother who thought Fiona wouldn't be able to care for her and didn't
tell Fiona until the dog was gone and living on the East Coast. I believe the story has ended perfectly.
Fiona’s life became wonderful despite everything that she had went through. She was able to get
through all the circumstances with a positive attitude. I am really glad that life turned out well for her
because in the end she get to be enrolled in college and got her degree. Also, she had her family behind
her that supports her in every stage of her life. At first, things seems doesn’t go on favour to Fiona but as
the story progresses, I can see that she needed some of those to happen to her in order for her to be a
better person that who she was. Fiona has become a strong-willed, intelligent and wonderful woman.
She was able to enjoy her college years and was able to keep good memories of her going to school. I
admired Fiona on how she faces all her troubles and able to handle it very well. Although sometimes she
is whining for being unable to understand the things that had happened to her but still she managed to
have a positive outlook in life. I wanted the book to have end it that way because finally Fiona have been
happy with her life. After all that had happened to her she was able to move on and seek a better life. I
can truly see that she is happy with what she has right now. Having finished studying was one of her
goals. She was able to achieve her life rules that she had developed or learning from her experiences
throughout her life. She was able to learn about God, about the people and herself. She was able to love
herself even more. She became matured enough to understand everything and became a wonderful
person.
