COVENANT DAY OF LONG LIFE

 Today, Jesus already conquered death for us in redemption

– Heb. 2:14-15
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also
himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might
destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Heb 2:15  And
deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to
bondage.
Rev. 1:18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for
evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
1 Cor. 15:53-57For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal
must put on immortality. 1Co 15:54  So when this corruptible shall have put on
incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought
to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.1Co 15:55  O
death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?1Co 15:56  The sting of
death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 1Co 15:57  But thanks be to God,
which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Jn 4:4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because
greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
 But as far as our eyes can see, it shall be given to us – Gen.
13:14-15And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him,
Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and
southward, and eastward, and westward: Gen 13:15  For all the land which thou
seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
 Moses saw 120 as God’s lifespan for man and departed
exactly at 120 – Gen. 6:3/ And the LORD said, My spirit shall not
always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an
hundred and twenty years.

Deut. 34:7And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died:
his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
 David saw 70 and he departed at 70 – Psa. 90:10/ The days of
our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they
be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon
cut off, and we fly away.
1 Chr. 29:28And he died in a good old age, full of days, riches, and honour:
and Solomon his son reigned in his stead.
 Paul departed to glory as Paul the aged – Phi. 1:22-25/ But if I
live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot
not.
Php 1:23  For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to
depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Php 1:24
Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you.
Php 1:25  And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue
with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

Phm 1:9Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul
the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
The following are the demands of the Covenant of Longevity:
 Be born again – Jhn 3:3-5Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of
God.
Joh 3:4  Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he
enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the
Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
 Stay in love with God – Psa. 91:14-16 Because he hath set his love upon
me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my
name. Psa 91:15  He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in
trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

1 Cor. 2:9But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have
entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love
him.
 Remain committed to serving God and the interest of His
kingdom – Exo. 23:25-26And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall
bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of
thee.  Exo 23:26  There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land:
the number of thy days I will fulfil.
 Stay free from the fear of death – Heb. 2:14-15Forasmuch then as the
children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the
devil; Heb 2:15  And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject
to bondage.
Job 3:24-25For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I
was afraid of is come unto me.
Job 3:26  I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble
came.
 Be committed to a life of joy and rejoicing – Pro. 17:22 A
merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the
bones.
Psa. 92:1-3/10-15It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing
praises unto thy name, O most High:  Psa 92:2  To shew forth thy
lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,  Psa 92:3
Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp
with a solemn sound.  But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an
unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.  Psa 92:11  Mine eye also shall see
my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the
wicked that rise up against me.  Psa 92:12  The righteous shall flourish like
the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.  Psa 92:13  Those that
be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our
God.  Psa 92:14  They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat
and flourishing;  Psa 92:15  To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock,
and there is no unrighteousness in him.
 Whenever challenged, take up the shield of faith against the
spirit of death–Eph. 6:16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye
shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked
Isa. 49: 24-26.  Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive
delivered?  Isa 49:25  But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall
be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend
with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.
Isa 49:26  And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall
be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I
the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
