Today, I commit to use this newly obtained knowledge to have a deeper understanding against self-care

and its importance to oneself. I will determine which self-care is effective for me and which is handier
when it comes to stress-management. With that being said, I commit to practice:

 Self-kindness, so that I can develop coping mechanisms whenever I feel hurt or inadequate.
 Having enough sleep or rest, so that I can feel physically refreshed and energized.
 Forgiveness, so that I won’t dwell too much on the things that have hurt me or caused me
stress.
 Having support systems and asking for help, so that I won’t feel like I’m carrying all the burden
alone.
 Meditation and Journalling, so that I can identify which bothers me and develop ways on how to
deal with it. And also, through journalling, I can write down my thoughts freely which is
therapeutic for me and is a big factor for my psychological well-being.

I want to do this because I value myself as much as I value people. And I believe that you would be more
effective in supporting the people you care about if you are mindful of your own needs.

I will accomplish this by making sure that I practice self-care religiously.
