Our measurements showed equivalent values of

hardness as SMI measurements which assure that
even after good preparation of the outer surface it
was still affected by the previous cold shearing

Hardness value at the inner surface of the same

sample (only1.5Cm from the outer surface) is
(224HBW) which is in range for G1045 in as rolled
conditions
