MOVIE REVIEW

"Every Child Is Special"

The film "Every Child is Special" is examined through the lens of social work. Ishaan, an 8-year-
old boy, is labeled as "lazy" and "naughty" by both his parents and his schoolmates. However, no
one delves deeply into the child's life because they are unaware of the disorder's symptoms.

Ishaan is a young child with a disorder, and his parents have no idea what is truly wrong with
him. In addition, there are a few things I've noticed: first, he constantly raises his voice; second,
he seems to be hurting everyone around him; and third, he always complains about his problems.
These things should be attended to in order to prevent the disorder from getting worse. that I still
remember when I was a child, apparently, I was kinder people, I used to struggle to read, as if I
used to be like Ishaan, where there was a point where I was lazy and I was afraid to face my
teacher even though I persevered and with the help of my parents because my mom is a teacher
so I was taught there but if I say it now it's like I still see myself in Ishaan because sometimes I
feel lazy even when my writing is not good, but I'm glad to see or watch this show again because
there are so many lessons I can share as a college teacher.

This film has taught me valuable lessons that I must remember and apply in the future. As an
example, we should be understanding and not put any pressure on the child because their unusual
behavior may indicate something more dangerous. That I must teach everything with patience
and understanding, even if I have to repeat the lesson several times before the children
understand it. Learning entails taking things one step at a time and is costly. The fact that the
child is learning is more important than how slowly they are learning or how long it will take
them to understand.
