His advice to king about how to treat his people. he believes its better to be feared than
love because people love as per thier need ,but fear as per your will.
He says that Prince morality is different than that of common man's. While a common
man (of that time ) could sacrifice self interest for religion ,a Prince cannot sacrifice
national interest at any cost . His morality as a person can be whatever ,but as a prince, it
should only be inclined for national interest.
Example - even if a prince hates church, he should still donate and praise it openly as a
ruler if it strengthens his national unity.
Nobility can challenge prince ,they have ambitions for rule ,but a common man is
interested in self living only.
He compares fortune with woman. Just like womeneembraces brave men ,so instead of
yielding to fortune ,face it courageously. In this way yiu can turn it in your favour.
