THE TRUTH OF FREEDOM

The Truth of Freedom

Freedom is a situation wherein you are permitted to do what you want to do. Freedom only

happens when you don’t have to invalidate your feelings and opinions for the sake of another

individual. Freedom is only violated when a person takes advantage of another individual.

Therefore, violation of freedom happens when someone abused another person’s belief.

Our hard-won freedoms are at risk now more than ever before. People nowadays have

learned the use of drugs and bullying surge all around the globe. A person would dictate to

another person what to do and who to believe in. Especially now that elections are coming.

Freedom is taken away from us. If we speak that is against others’ beliefs, they would brand you

an idiot. In order to exercise our freedom effectively, we may have to acknowledge that the

greatest danger to our freedom is slipping into habits of thought that encourage us to acquiesce –

habits of thought that make it easier to think of the way things are as the way they should be, or

as the way, they will always be (Gopal, P., 2015).

Violation of Freedom is a grave sin. Nowadays, with all the social and economic issues we

are facing, we should always protect our freedom. We should also respect the freedom of other

people and learn to be more compassionate and helpful. We must not degrade a human being and

must always be kind at all costs.
