What if ?

As a Portuguese, when moving to the USA I would go with certain stereotypes in mind
such as that all Americans are rich and have big families with big houses and cars.
In addition, Americans are considered to be those who do not know the rest of the world,
that is, they know just a few countries.
Another stereotype is the fact that the English only know English as a language and do not
give importance to knowing other languages.
As for patriotism, Portugal and the USA are similar, but the USA is in fact more patriotic.
Finally, about football, the Portuguese think that Americans do not understand football at
all because in the USA football is not a popular sport as in Europe for example.
