The heroes

When people think of heroes, some would think about the heroes in movies such as Superman or All
Might but some would think about some family members or even the authorities.

However, we must know that heroes are human beings and they obviously can make mistakes. All the
movies I've seen with heroes, they always win all the battles with the villains and they have given us the
impression that they can't lose or that they are perfect which is not the case. When they lose we are
very disappointed in them even though it’s just a movie.

But enough with the imaginary heroes, what about the real ones, like our parents, teachers, doctors,
police officers, friends or simply people that do something good for us? The ones who really work for
our respect and trust.

Take the doctors for example, they work really hard to heal and help the people that need it so we really
respect them for doing so but when they maybe do something wrong like a surgeon, when they lose a
patient on the surgery table we are angry and disappointed that somebody died because of them. What
we don’t know is that maybe it had more impact on them than on us.

Even when we are young, we think that our parents or parent are our hero but maybe later we realize
that it’s not like that, they will make us sad and stressed but that’s just the human life.

That's what I thought too, that my parents are perfect and they can't make mistakes but I proved myself
wrong many times .

I have always thought that there are heroes in my class, like those kids who always answer so people
who don't know dont have to or the ones who make everyone laugh regarding the situation.

Though I never thought of myself as a hero, maybe some of my friends or family do but I don't want
that ,I don't want them to consider me as a hero because I can't take that much pressure, to always give
my best for them in school, to always smile in front of people so that I am close to acceptable, but I
don’t want to do it for them and for me.

Did somebody ever think that maybe we are expecting too much from our heroes? Of course! But did
they ever do something to prevent that? No. I don't say that we are not supposed to believe in them
that they are going to give their best in everything they do but maybe we need to slow our expectations
down.
