MEMORANDUM

RE: Deposit of cellphones at a designated deposit box in the detachment

during duty hours

In view of the recurring problem raised by our clients on the prolonged use of
cellphones by the detailed security guards, the Agency has resolved to implement a
strict prohibition against the use of cellphones during duty hours except on breaks
and after duty pursuant to their duty of securing the clients’ premises and property.

By virtue of which, each detailed security guard and officer shall be required
to deposit his or her cellphone at the designated deposit box within the detachment
premises and can only be used during breaks. The Agency shall ensure the privacy
of the contents of the cellphone as no other person except the owner of the same
shall be allowed to get hold of it or touch it.

The Agency shall provide a company cellphone which shall be turned over to
the Detachment Commander in charge to meet the exigencies.

Non-compliance with this policy shall result in grave consequences with

proper observance of due process.
