TITLE: PITONG PUNTONG PROGRAMA PARA SA MODELONG PAMILYA

I. Objectives
Starting September 19, 2022 until the last grading quarter (July 7, 2023), at least
81% of learners from grades 7 – 10 with a total of 2,600, along with their families,
should be able to:

a. Guarantee that the learners, along with their families, will religiously do
the 7 healthy habits: choose nutritious and varied options, managed
portions, choose to drink water and milk, play actively, enjoy meals
together, practice good hygiene and care for the planet as daily routine
b. Submit a booklet with the parent and MAPEH adviser’s signature of
pitong puntong programa para sa modelong pamilya.

II. Mechanics

a. Respectively, during MAPEH class and parents’ summit (September 9,


2022), the MAPEH teachers will conduct an orientation to the Learners
and their parents about the seven healthy habits best practices which is to
be practiced religiously at school and at home.
b. The MAPEH teachers will provide a booklet of pitong puntong programa
para sa modelong pamilya to all the learners to be distributed on
September 19, 2022 during MAPEH Class.
c. Every SUNDAY, the checklist will be signed by the parent to ensure that
the 7 healthy habits are religiously practiced and done at home.
d. Every Monday, the learners will submit the checklist to their respective
MAPEH teacher and will be signed by the teacher accordingly to ensure
that the 7 healthy habits are religiously practiced and done at school
e. Everyday learners will send pictures (on their class Messenger-Group
Chat as proof and evidence of their 7 healthy habits practices at school
and at home
f. Every first Monday of the month, during flag raising ceremony, the
MAPEH teachers will recognize the “MODELONG PAMILYA of the
MONTH” winner per grade level.
g. The winners will receive certificates and prizes from stakeholders.

III. Result

2,200 out of 2,600 Barrettonian learners submitted their checklist, signed by


their parents, every Monday to their MAPEH teacher.
TITLE: REDUCE: TUMBLER IS MY BEST FRIEND

I. Objectives
Starting September 19, 2022 until the last grading quarter (July 7, 2023), at least 81% of
learners from grades 7 – 10 with a total of 2,600, along with their families, should be
able to:
a. Reduce the use of disposable paper and plastic cups in drinking water and other
nutritious beverages.
b. Monitor the habit of drinking 8-12 glasses a day using tumbler in the weekly
checklist posted in the wellness corner- bulletin board in school and at home.
c. Promote proper waste management and spread the concept of the 3R principle
(Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle) in our school and at home.

II. Mechanics
a. Every learner has their own tumbler sponsored by stakeholder to be used for drinking
water and/or other nutritious beverage.
b. Before they go to school, they will make sure that they drink water and/or nutritious
beverage and check the checklist at home.
c. At school, every time that learners want to drink, they will use they tumbler and check
the checklist in the wellness corner-bulletin board.
III. Result
2,200 out of 2,600 barrettonians checklist will validated by the MAPEH Teacher.

our school and at home.

WELLNESS DANCERCISE TIKTOK CHALLENGE

Dancercise was derived from the words dance and exercise which provide great
way for students together with their family to get and stay in shape. Besides having fun,
dancercise has many positive health benefits. Wellness dancercise can have a
tremendous impact in students over-all flexibility, strength, endurance and emotional
being.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF DANCERCISE


 improved condition of your heart and lungs
 increased muscular strength, endurance and motor fitness
 increase aerobic fitness
 improved muscle tone and strength
 weight management
 stronger bones and reduced risk of osteoporosis
 better coordination, agility and flexibility
 It boosts mood and brainpower.

Sustainability:

The program creator will include this activity to the performance task under the
component of Physical Education.  He will include it in the WHLP to ensure the
sustainability of this program.

Future Plans:

Extend the program if possible, to other grade levels. 

Remarks: 
          For the month of October, only 50% of Grade 9 students, under the supervision of
the program content creator, have participated in the activity about wellness dancercise
tiktok challenge.
