Lyn: Hi, Shirley! (Smiles*) I’ve heard about the recognition. You did well, you are one of the
awardees!
Shirley:Oh, well yeah Thank you… but you know I'm so happy when I've got the award, like… I
got what my parents always wanted me to do.
(excited na may pagka happy na may pagka ulingag kasi happy talaga si shirley kasi may
ipapakita siya sa mga magulang niya)
Lyn: Hey Shirley, are you really happy to yourself because you have an award? or are you
happy because your parents are gonna be proud of you? Again?
Shirley: You know Lyn, there is so much more to prove in life, there are a lot of achievements
and opportunities like this that I want to maintain.
Lyn: But that's not mean you're gonna act like you need to. Shirley, it's okay if you rest, it's a
must. I mean you don't have to pressure yourself that much. You just have to be your own self.
Your own way.
Shirley: (Shrugs*) I put so much effort in times like this, anyone's proud but… I'm into so much
more.
Lyn: I can see your efforts to do stuffs like this, you are best in this, and anyone knows that you
deserve it
Shirley: You know what… Thank you so much for supporting me in many ways especially in
times like these. I'm thankful that you came to my life and I'm thankful that you are my
bestfriend.(*smile happily)
Lyn: Like me, you are a student too, we can still enjoy our lives in the best way. (Smiles*)
Shirley: Yeah, You're Right! (*smile proudly to her best friend)
Lyn: You know what? I deserve a treat (Smiles teasingly)
Shirley: Come on, I still don't receive my allowance (rolls her eyes*)
(Both Exits the scene laughing*)
