According to (Obnamia, 2014, p. 7): A business firm contradicts itself when it

announces equal oppurtunity polices but conveys sexist bias in the wordings of directives,

instructions, reports or other messages. Word choice discloses such contradictions and people

are an important part of word choice. Exclusion of male-female distinctions is not being

advocated. It is realistic and appropriate for feminine pronouns to characterize a message

referring solely to men. But freedom from sexist bias is realistic, appropriate, and fair for

messages referrring to people as people.
