SOUP Title PSYCHED FOR PSYCHOLOGY
Primary Objective of This project is an integration of the topics discussed in PSY 1: General
the SOUP Psychology, which are taken by fifth year students of the BS Architecture program
for this second term AY 2021-2022. Students will be tasked to create a short video
showcasing topics in psychology to promote the significance of psychology in the
society.

Brief Description of The SOUP is intended for students to create their own video with the goal of
SOUP promoting the relevance of psychology to society.

Implementation of The SOUP will be divided into 2 tasks which will be done for the prelim period
SOUP and final period respectively.

A. For the prelim period, students will be asked to come up with a draft and a
storyboard layout presenting the scenes in their video.

B. For the final period, students will be asked to create a short video (1-2 mins)
showcasing the importance of psychology to society.

SOUP Significance By collaborating with their group mates, students can improve their communication
and social skills; promote flexibility, despite working remotely at home. In addition,
this project allows students to demonstrate their creativity in the short video
presentation. Since students will be utilizing computer programs for drafting,
recording, and editing, the SOUP project can also enhance their technological
knowledge. All these skills are expected in the creation of the short video
presentation with the goal of promoting the relevance of psychology to society.
Procedure A. PRELIMS PERIOD: The draft will include the following format:

a. Introduction: Write a rationale/ background on the importance of


making the video entitled, “Psyched with Psychology” using the
topics in general psychology.

b. Objectives: Write SMART goals focused on how the video will


make an impact in the lives of the viewers.

c. Storyboard/ Layout: Show the flow of the story using a


powerpoint presentation.

d. Signature and printed name of all the group members per


committee at the last page of the project proposal.

B. FINALS PERIOD: The submission of the short video

The class will submit the short video through Google drive on or before
May 13, 2022 to their course facilitator.

The group leader will also submit an accomplishment report about what
each member has done in making of the short video. It will be submitted
on or before May 13, 2022.
