Vice President, Mindanao Generation SUBJECT : OBSERVANCE OF RAMADAN DATE : 6 May 2019 Pursuant to P.D. No. 291, Recognizing Muslim Holidays and Providing for its Implementation, dated 12 September 1973, and as amended by P.D. No. 322 on the Regulation of Office Hours in the Month of Ramadan, dated 26 October 1973, please be informed that the start of Ramadan for the year 2019 falls on 6 May 2019 (Monday). In view of this, all Muslim employees under Mindanao Generation including Head Office based offices administratively attached to Mindanao Generation, shall observe office hours from seven-thirty in the morning (7:30 A.M.) to three-thirty in the afternoon (3:30 P.M.) without lunch break or coffee break. However, Muslim employees who are not observing the Ramadan, like pregnant women or due to health reasons, are not covered by these new office hours, and thus, should observe the regular office hours in the morning and afternoon, ie., 8:00AM — 12:00PM in the moming and 1:00PM — 5:00PM in the afternoon Please be guided accordingly.
