Good morning, greetings to all of us

The Honorable Mr. Principal and all the Teachers.

Dear judges, and the students I’m proud of, especially my classmate 7A.

First of all, we should give thanks to the presence of God Almighty, it is because
of His love and blessings that we can gather here in good health.

Good people

One thing we are grateful for, that we live in a time of independence. Can you
imagine? if we weren't independent yet, maybe right now we're being forced to do
hard labor instead of studying freely at school. The freedom that we enjoy now is a
manifestation of the struggle of the heroes by risking their body and soul. As we
know, that the incident on November 10, 1945, where the Surabaya youth battled
against the Dutch East Indies government was the heaviest and biggest battle
against colonialism in the history of Indonesian Independence Day. That's why we
commemorate Heroes' Day every November 10.

The fighting spirit, self-sacrifice and unity regardless of race, ethnicity and religion
by our heroes in fighting for independence are things we should emulate. What we
need to do to honor our heroes then?. Is it enough just to commemorate their
heroism every November 10? Of course not!!!

As a young generation, especially as students, we need to fill this independence

with positive things, especially by studying hard. Bung Karno once said "Give me
ten youths and I will shake the world", which emphasized the importance of the
role of generations in the progress of the nation and state. The good or bad of a
country is seen from the quality of its young generation, because the younger
generation is the successor and heir to the nation and state.

Therefore, let us all unite our determination and fullfill the independence that the
heroes have fought for, namely by studying hard, diligently worshiping, and doing
positive activities. What for? so that we are able to become the younger generation
or millennial generation who are not only smart have good and strong characters.
Surely our country, Indonesia… will become a strong nation and a developed and
prosperous nation in our hands later.

Come on guys, with the spirit of unity we will shake the world, not with sharp
bamboo, not with firearms but with achievements, innovations and technology!!

Oh yes, the last but not least. Please stay healthy, especially during this pandemic.
Because taking care of the health of ourselves and others during this pandemic is
also our struggle. Because a healthy generation will be able to strive to achieve
their goals. So, don’t forget to wear masks, keep your distance and always wash
your hands.

That's all I can say, if there are shortcomings, please forgive me. Thanks for your
attention.
