Safety and security in a restaurant is an important aspect in maintaining a peaceful and risk free

environment. So for the risks that was shown on the video that concerns the health and lives of
the people, my group mates will further explain on how to prevent these kind of incidents.

Good personal hygiene is essential for any food handler and minimises the risk of food
contamination. Most people carry harmful bacteria on their bodies and can unwittingly transport
them to food. Touching your mouth, nose, hair or even your clothing can spread bacteria and
cause contamination. Even healthy people are not immune and must practice good personal
hygiene to minimise this risk.

Safety and security in a restaurant, the hotel even at home is paramount, as shown in the video.
The girl was cooking, and she forgot to turn off the stove. There will be a significant possibility
of causing a fire. So, if you’re leaving the house or in your workplace, it is essential to check all
of your appliances to prevent causing a fire or fire. Putting a fire prevention plan in place can
significantly reduce the extent of damage that a fire can cause and help prevent one from
breaking out in the first place.

The third video depicts a person who uses an electrical outlet excessively before abandoning it.
You must remove any appliances that are not in use. These include chargers, gadgets, computers,
and microwave, among others. These things when plug yet unused can also release an amount of
heat. Likewise, do not forget to turn off the lights when not in usage, particularly those that
located outside your home. If they are left plugged and turned on overnight or for those, it may
cause overheating.

For the last video, it is all about ironing clothes, as we can see in the video, the girl was busy
with his phone while doing it. And the clothes being ironed, burned. In that case, it might cause
also possible fire breakout. So, to prevent this kind of risk you must be focus in what you are
doing.

The video was all about cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen after using. The objective of cleaning
and sanitizing food contact surfaces is to remove food that bacteria need to grow, and to kill
those bacteria that are present. It is important that the clean, sanitized equipment and surfaces
drain dry and are stored dry so as to prevent bacteria growth. Sanitizing is designed to reduce the
number of microorganisms to a safe level. Sanitizing is performed after cleaning. Unclean
surfaces will reduce the effectiveness of sanitizing. All surfaces that come into contact with food
must be cleaned and sanitized regularly. Sanitizing reduces the growth of viruses, fungi, and
types of harmful bacteria. You can clean every day but you should always sanitize and also
disinfect to keep your home or workplace safe.
