While I was walking down the street, I found a small, gold ring on the pavement.

It was next to a
restaurant, where there were a lot of people who were going in and out of it, so I’d never find the
person, who dropped it.

The ring was unusually heavy, so I put it in my pocket as I went inside the restaurant. I asked one of the
security guards, if I could check the cameras and see who dropped it. He told me to come inside the
security room and to tell him when and how I found the ring. The security guard reversed the footage
and we saw that a woman dropped it without noticing after leaving the restaurant.

While I was watching the footage, I noticed the same woman outside, probably searching for her
golden ring. I went out as fast as I could and told her I found what she has lost. The woman thanked me
as I returned her ring and said that it was, in fact, a gift from her grandmother. The ring was actually
very precious to her so I am glad I was able to help her out and do something good for someone.
