Title of the readings: 1. What is the reading all about?

Hard to Imagine The reading is about the novel written by Jose Rizal, and Leon Ma.

An Abridged Version Guerrero is the person who understands the Spanish version. He is the

By Benedict Anderson one who translates and publishes Rizal's book so that Filipinos may

readily comprehend its meaning. He notices that only a small number

of people can understand Spanish, which explains why others do not

find the story intriguing, particularly to present generations for whom

Spanish is very difficult to comprehend.

According to my perspective, Jose Rizal displayed his courage mostly

via his literature. One of the readings in Rizal's Bill was contentious for

revealing all the wrongdoings in the church in his book.

2. What did you learn from the article?

I gained an understanding of how Jose Rizal expresses himself via his

literary books rather than through the use of physical force. He wants

us Filipinos to be aware of what transpired in the past and for him to

shed light on what factors contributed to the formation of history.

3. How does the article relate to the lesson?

The article discusses Rizal's Bill, which is similar to what we learned in

the lesson, in which The Rizal Life, and works of how he produces his

writing generates a tremendous upheaval in the history of our nation.

How does it develop and/or promote nationalism to you?

We, the students, are inspired by Jose Rizal because of how

much he sacrifices his life for the love of our country; if it weren't for

him, we would have already been conquered by another nation. He

established himself as a paradigm for how much we should cherish and

take pride in our own nation, and he had a significant influence on both

our past and our identity as Filipinos. It has helped me have a better

understanding of the purpose behind the study of this topic, which is to

expose younger generations to the principles of freedom and

nationalism for which our ancestors fought and died. to show respect

for our country's greatest hero, who, through his life and work, helped

form the distinctive qualities that define the Filipino people today.

How does it develop and/or promote patriotism to you?

Studying Rizal's life and works inspires people to love and defend their

country in the same way that he did, to express themselves through

writing in the same way that he did, to keep hope alive and a lot of

other things because they realize how much he did for our country.

Studying Rizal's life and works also encourages patriotism because of

all that he did for our country.

How does it develop and/promote volunteerism to you?

Volunteer work is a source of inspiration and drive for me. As Filipinos,

we are quite proud of our culture and traditions, and one of those

traditions is that we strongly believe in assisting one another and

cooperating with one another to achieve our goals. To be of service to

our nation in this way represents who we are as a people. If more

people in our country had the chance to participate in community

service, it would be a huge step forward for our nation.
