Placing EPS AC WG into operaton on an SO E 32923

• Plug in the console or dongle to the EPS inverter

• Switch on the machine
• Go to menu SET MODEL and adjust paramter AUT REQ TYPE to level 2
• Into menu SET MODEL switch to parameter SYSTEM CONFIG and set to
level 0
• Change to menu SET OPTIONS and set LIMIT DEVICE to OFF
• Into menu SET OPTIONS go to FEEDBACK DEVICE and set it to #1
• Put driving wheel to direction straight on forward
• Switch off the machine
• Disconnect one phase of the steering motor
• Set FB potentiometer ( steering motor) to 2,5 V, respectively check value into
menue TESTER
• Then change to menue ADJUSTMENTS and set MAX MANUAL ANGLE to
100%, also MIN MANUAL ANGLE to 100%
• Save values
• Switch off the machine
• Connect removed phase to the steering motor
• Switch on the machine
• Control sense of rotation of the steering wheel and the driving wheel (counter
rotating steering, that means when turning steering wheel clockwise the
driving wheel turns counter clock wise)
• Then turn steering wheel ( stepper motor) until FEEDBACKPOT shows the
value 1,1 Volt
• Now go to point FEEDBACKPOT into menue TESTER and check if there is
shown value 1,1 Volt.
• Change to menue ADJUSTMENTS and verify SET MIN FB POT and save it
• Go back to menue TESTER
• Then turn steering sheel (stepper motor) until the FEEDBACKPOT shows the
value 3,9V
• Change to menue ADJUSTMENTS and verify SET MAX FB POT and save it
• Then set parameter FEEDBACK DEVICE to value#2
• Change to menue SET OPTIONS and set LIMIT DEVICE to ON
• Save all adjustments by pressing enter and switch the machine off
• Switch the Machine on and if the values and parameter have been saved the
machine would steer in the right way to the given values. If not there must be
done something wrong and you should check and do the procedure again.
