and perception that is the product.
3. They sell certainty.
4. You have to have great perception.

Ed Sheraan once said:”If you’re looking at my instagram I am not
posting a selfie everyday I am posting about songs I am like promoting
stuff. Instagram is a promotional tool. That is the point of instagram.
Whenever I see a selfie, I want to reach out to that person and be like
“Are you having an all-right day?” Because that is them wanting, they’re
having a bad day, and they want people to be like “OMG, you look
amazing”. And that will make ‘em, and that will bring them up. Social
media in general has this like, sheen of like life is perfect and that make
everyone else fill bad because why isn’t my life like this. But really the
person behind the thing posting the perfect life is having a bad day and
they want people to be like “Omg this is great” and it’s all smoke and
mirrors basically.
Through social media we flaunt our lives and judge the life of others. In
this ideal world bodies are perfectly shaped, hobbies are exciting, love
stories have happy endings and holidays are perfect, but is this virtual
happiness an accurate depiction of reality, hidden behind these perfect
lives there are often suffering, depression, anxiety , addiction and even
suicide.
