Dear sir,

As per telephonic discussion, I am writing this mail for requesting to increase my CTC and
offer a higher designation. I am not asking this but as a part of equality and fairness as I
already have a relevant experience of 6 years in Tata Steel prior to joining IIM Lucknow for 2
years MBA program.

Being honest, I want to be as motivated as others to give my 100% like I did during my
internship at Adani. I am a very hardworking individual and believe in adding values to the
firm where I work no matter what it takes to do that. During my tenure at Tata Steel I
worked for 6 years because I wanted to finish what I was offered and due this kind of work
ethics and forwarding going mentality the management offered me 2 years education leave
as they saw an asset in me and didn’t want to part with me.

Not only in Tata Steel, during my miniscule stay of 2 months in Adani (AEML), I showed that
how much I am dedicated to resolve the issues by taking bold initiative to add values to the
firm as quickly as I can.

The only thing that I expect in return is equality and fairness, in my opinion, my work
experience of 6 years is a special case and hence must be considered separately. I want this
so that I am fully motivated and give my best to the firm to add values and make this AALP
program as successful as envisioned by the management.

Looking forward for a positive response.

Dear Placement cell team,

In response to Adani's PPO offer, I spoke with Adani HR to get additional information on the
job description, career advancement, designation, and wage structure. He will speak with
upper management and reply to me the following week.

Therefore, if you could give me an extra week to decide, that would be very appreciated.

Following a telephone conversation, I am writing this email to request a rise in my CTC and a
higher designation.

Instead than just trying to negotiate, I'm looking for equality and fairness.

I already had 6 years of relevant experience in Tata Steel where I worked in a project to
turnaround a loss making Bhushan steel to a gold nest of Tata Steel within two years of
acquisition. (For details CV attached).

I bring a problem-solver, an innovative mindset, and a perspective that puts the good of the
firm above individual gain. I don't have the potential for all of this like most MBA students
do; rather, I have already demonstrated it there for a long sustained period of time- six
years. The Tata Steel management saw me as a valuable asset and didn't want to lose me,
so they offered me two years of education leave when I went with a resignation letter.

Not only at Tata Steel, but also during my brief stint of two months at Adani (AEML), I
demonstrated my commitment to finding solutions by taking the initiative to offer value to
the company as soon as I could. My suggestions were so rational & sensible that following
my presentation, AEML COO Mr. Kapil Sharma personally thanked me for my effort.

I merely ask for equality and fairness in return, and because my six years of professional
experience make me a unique situation, this must be taken into account separately. I want
this in order to be totally motivated and give the company my all in order to bring value and
make the management's vision for the success of the AALP program a reality.
Sincerity dictates that I wish to share others' motivation for giving 110%, just like I did during
my internship at Adani. I am a very dedicated person that believes in bringing value to the
company where I work, no matter what it takes. Because I wanted to complete the work I
was given during my time at Tata Steel, I stayed there for six years. As a result of my
dedication to the company and my forward-thinking attitude, the management decided to
give me two years of paid time off to further my education because they saw me as a
valuable asset.
