Communication is the act of giving, receiving, and sharing information -- in other words, talking or
writing, and listening or reading. Good communicators listen carefully, speak or write clearly, and
respect different opinions

It originated in Europe in 1660. it was started by the Royal Society. And then following the industrial
revolution Technology field developed.

what are the qualities of a good report

A report should have the following features in it:

Precision: A good report is very clear about the exact purpose of report i.e. investigation, analysis
and

recommendation.

Accuracy of Facts: Accuracy of facts is very essential to a good report since reports invariably lead to
decision making.

Relevance: Irrelevant facts make a report confirming: exclusion of relevant facts renders it
incomplete and likely to mislead.

Reader and Result Orientation:

A good report is always leader and result oriented. While drafting a good report, it is necessary to
keep in mind the person who is going to read it and that it leads to home result or
recommendations.

Objectivity of Recommendations: If recommendations are made at the end of the report, they must
be objective. They should come as a logical conclusion to investigation and analysis.

Simple and Unambiguous language: A good report must be written in simple and unambiguous
language, free from ornamentation.

Clarity and Brevity: A good report is absolutely clear and brief. Clarity depends on proper
arrangement of facts. Writer should make his purpose clear, define his/her resources, state his/her
findings and finally make necessary recommendations
. Brevity in a report is to include everything significant and yet be brief.

Technical writing provides detail-oriented instruction to help users understand a specific skill. The
most common types include: Traditional: Repair manuals, medical studies. End-user documentation:
Electronics, consumer products. Technical marketing content: Press releases, catalogs. Press
releases, memos, reports, business proposals, datasheets, product descriptions and specifications,
white papers, résumés, and job applications are but a few examples of documents that are
considered forms of technical writing.

Explain the process of communication

The communication process is made up of four key components. Those components


include encoding, medium of transmission, decoding, and feedback. There are also two other factors
in the process, and those two factors are present in the form of the sender and the receiver.

A synopsis conveys the narrative arc, an explanation of the problem or plot, the characters, and how
the book or novel ends. It ensures character actions and motivations are realistic and make sense. It
summarizes what happens and who changes from beginning to end of the story.
