Adidas, in full name Adidas AG is a


German company which produced athletic
footwear, clothing, and sporting goods. The
three-stripe trademark has historically been
used to identify Adidas products, and it is
still present in the brand's more recent
"trefoil" and "mountain" logos. The Adidas’s
headquarters are in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

Adidas generates their income from the production and selling of a variety of
clothing products. For both men and women, this includes t-shirts, jeans, leggings,
coats, and hoodies. Moreover, Adidas also produces sandals and other types of
footwear. Men's, women's, and kids' footwear sales bring in money for the business.
Additionally, the business offers watches, baseball caps, socks, eyewear, mobile
accessories, and both male and female beauty goods. In addition to these, Adidas
unveiled its own Fit Smart bracelet that works with the Adidas MI Coach app for
customized training.

Strength - Branding through international sponsorships
> Sponsoring international organizations gives businesses the chance to reach sports
enthusiasts worldwide directly with their advertising. For instance, the advertising for
NBA, Olympics, and FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Weakness - Expensive Products


> Adidas charges high price for their goods, alienating those with less financial
resources. Only customers from the upper and middle classes can purchase shoes that
cost more than RM 400.
Opportunities - Investing in Smart Materials
> New synthetic materials that are superior to conventional materials and more
advantageous have been made possible by technological developments.
Threats- Competition
> The major threat to Adidas is growing competition brought on by globalization and
technical improvements, Adidas must battle with its primary rivals, including Nike,
Under Armour, Puma, Lululemon, and Patagonia, as well as ward off new entrants
and penetration attempts.
