INTRA URBAN TRANSPORT

There is no motorised intra-urban public transport in the town. This is due to the fact that the surface material of the road is not suitable for intra-urban transport
There are some motor bike and mule drawn chariot serve for intra - urban transport.

ENTER -URBAN TRANSPORT

Ther is good inter urban transport between sire town and its surrounding town particularily during market days there is large movement of traffic in the town
the federal asphalt highway contributes for the inter-urban transport of sire town with its surrounding town and rural town .

Traffic volume count

The highway that connects finfinne addia abeba with nekemte passes through sire town and it contributes for the movement of large number of vehicles through the town. Trraffic count was
conducted within the town at five sites on two market days and one non market day. The result indicates 83% in the town are pedestrian.
