Business Analyst Scenario Overview Tracer Gas Services Ltd currently use the DCISS system to run all of

their responsive breakdown jobs. An email has come into DCISS:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dear DCISS,

We currently run all of our responsive breakdown jobs through DCISS, we receive calls from customers
to respond to issues where their central heating system has issues.

We now want to move into offering servicing options for their clients where a piece of equipment (e.g. a
central heating boiler) would require a 6 month, 12 month, etc. service. As an additional revenue
stream.

Against our existing clients we record basic information for their equipment including the Make, Model
and a Brief Description but want to record the Service(s) that the equipment requires, additionally, we
will also offer discounted rates where equipment is less than 3 years old.

We’d like to see this information against the client’s equipment, but also want to see the information in
some form of output. We’ll use the output to find out when a service may be due for all clients in a given
period of time, that way our service team can reach out to the clients to get their services booked in.

Kind regards Tracer Gas
