The Schools Division Office of Olongapo City through the Information and Communication Technology Service (ICTS) will hold a 2-Day Division Wide OER Training Workshop with the theme “Providing Educational Materials Out of Nothing” on October 18 - 19, 2018, 7:30 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon at the Asinan Elementary School Home Economics Room. 2. This seminar-workshop is a National Level Training that will introduce the capabilities, functionalities and advantages of using OER as a powerful tool to support offline e-leaming even without internet connectivity. This project supports the Digital Rise Program which ensures the delivery of quality, accessible, relevant, and liberating education by bridging the digital gap. Likewise, the participants will undergo a capacity building program to be OER volunteers of the department in spearheading this innovation in their respective school and further support the Last Mile Schools. 3. _ Participants to this training are ICT Coordinators. Transportation of participants shall be provided by the school chargeable to School MOOE subject to usual auditing and accounting rules and regulations. The participants are advised to bring Extension Cord Personal/DCP/School Laptop and 5 samples of Teachers Form 212 for EPMIS Go encoding. 4.
