Dear Employer,
Jing Lu was my student during her 10-week psychiatric/mental health rotation in the spring of
2022. During her psych rotation, Jing was assigned to an inpatient psychiatric facility and
worked with civilian, military, and first-responder patients, mostly with dual-diagnoses. Jing
provided both her adult residential and acute-care hospitalized population groups with
competent, compassionate, and patient-focused holistic care.
Jing was a dedicated student, prepared both didactically and clinically, and exhibited an
excellent bedside manner. She actively looked for ways to increase the comfort of patients and
lighten the workload on nursing staff.
Our goal for students is a concentrated practice of interpersonal relationship skills that can be
generalized and applied to any nursing endeavor. The therapeutic communication skills Jing
Practiced during her rotation will serve her well during her professional endeavors
| appreciate your efforts in supporting Jing's dreams of entering the healthcare field as a
beginning nursing professional and am confident she will be an asset to any organization
fortunate to employ her.
