Spider-man intro

Host 1: The new Spider-Man movie is out and it promises to impress.

Host 2: Yeah, thankfully I managed to get some tickets.
Host 1: So, what do you think of the trailer?
Host 2: It's amazing! It showed a lot of exciting footage. I can't wait to see the movie!
Host 1: Me too! Here’s a sneak peek at the Spider-Man No Way Home movie!

Spider-man Trailer plays*

Host 1: I can’t believe this movie is gonna have villains that we first saw 19 years ago!
Host 2: It’s crazy to think that most of us weren’t even born when the first Spider-Man
movie came out.
Host 1: This’ll definitely be a movie for the ages.

Del-ta-roon intro

Host 1: Big news for you epic gamers! Toby Fox, the creator of the hit RPG game
Undertale, recently released chapter 2 of his new game, Del-ta-roon!
Host 2: Please don’t ever say “epic gamers” again. And what’s Del-ta-roon? The only
games I keep hearing about are Cookie Run, Fortnite and… uh… Among Us…
Host 1: Del-ta-roon is a game where players get to solve puzzles and choose to either
fight or befriend monsters to “beat” the game.
Host 2: Cool, that sounds like a challenge! Let's check out the trailer!

Host 2: What a cute dog! And the gameplay does look pretty cool. I think the music was
my favourite part though.
Host 1: Yeah I agree the soundtrack is amazing. And it’s free!
Host 2: Awesome! Maybe I will check it out.

try!

Metaverse Intro

Host 1: Just months ago, Mark Zuckerburg, CEO of Facebook, announced the
rebranding of the company to “Meta” in order to embrace “the evolution of the next
internet”.
Host 2: The “Metaverse”, is the rebranding of Facebook. It is a new step of virtual and
augmented reality that will allow users to “live” inside a 3-D digital universe.
Host 1: This means you can have access to a “second life” in the virtual world. So
imagine the potential this technology has without even leaving your home!
Host 1: Let’s take a look at what this could mean for students.

Host 1: Being able to attend field trips from home would be amazing, especially since
the pandemic has prevented us from attending anything.
Host 2: This definitely has the potential to make learning more immersive!

National Indigenous Day Intro

Host 1: Today marks 20 years since Canada declared National Indigenous Peoples’
Day.
Host 2: Many non-Indigenous people have gathered alongside the Indigenous to
express solidarity as well as reconcile with the Peoples.
Host 1: Let us take a look at what one Indigenous community has done to acknowledge
this day.

Host 1: Rememmber, National Indigenous Peoples’ Day is not a celebration, but a day
to reconcile and remember those whose lives were lost in Residential Schools.

Rudolph gets wrecked intro

Host 1: I can’t wait for the holidays! All the presents, the lights, and the movie
marathons.
Host 2: Yeah I'm excited too! I’m also looking forward to rewatching some classics with
my family. Like Rudolph the red nosed reindeer!
Host 1: Speaking of reindeer, a woman named Arlene from B.C. witnessed her reindeer
decoration get wrecked by a real one! Arlene’s decoration had a lightbulb attached to its
nose which seemed to attract real reindeer.
Host 2: A plastic decoration with a lightbulb as its nose? The reindeer thought that was
real competition? Now this I’ve gotta see.

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer video plays*

Host 2: Wow, he really did a hit-and-run. I didn’t know reindeer could be so aggressive!
Host 1: Male reindeer are actually pretty violent this time of year. They often get into
antler fights over territory! That’s probably why this one tried attacking the decoration.
Host 2: Never thought I’d see the day when our friendly Rudolph got into a battle to the
death!
Host 1: I know right? I for one prefer the kid friendly version. Much less violent and a lot
more festive. Just the right thing to get into a festive mood for the holidays!
