Literal darkness of a sunless world.

The survivors of this disaster almost immediately turn to murder and cannibalism.
People desperately slaughter whatever they can get their hands on. People set all the
world’s buildings forest on fire for the sake of temporary light. They destroyed
everything around them.

Live around the volcanos, because of the natural light and warm.
