What’s in your water supply? Microlene Cartridge Design

Most water supplies contain dissolved minerals such as
chlorine and aluminum, as well as sediment that can leave
a residual smell and taste in the water. In municipal water
supply, there can also be Trihalomethane (THM’s) present,
THM’s form as a result of water having been treated with
chlorine where levels of organic matter were present. THM’s
will be harmful if consumed. If you get your water from
other than municipal supply, your water may also contain
parasitic cysts such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
Microlene System
The HF1M high flow 1 micron under bench filtration system
is designed for installation where there is a pre-existing tap. ​
This allows the filtration system to be installed with no
requirements of drilling holes in benches, or no need for a
separate filter tap to be purchased and installed. It’s only
the connections (provided), that need to be fitted and the
cartridge mounting head secured under the bench into the
cabinetry wall. ​
As the cold tap is turned on, the water will be drawn from the
under bench cold water outlet through the cartridge through
to the tap. All cold water supplied through the faucet will
be purified, providing clean tasting water. All the plumbing
connections required are included for a standard installation.​
The 5 Stage, 1 micron water filtration process reduces bad
taste and odour, chemicals (such as chlorine), sediment and
Trihalomethane (THM’s) whilst leaving all vital minerals
in the water supply. Cartridge design incorporates
water softening beads for treating scaling and hard
water. The cartridge protects and removes up to 99.9%
of harmful cysts like Giardia and Cryptosporidium.
The cartridge design provides toolless installation and
replacement. Simply turn off the cold water supply, drain
the water from the line (by turning on the filter tap),
then twist and remove, or insert and twist to install.
Designed for both rain water supply and mains water supply.
If using for rain water / harvested water applications, pre
treatment may be required such as sediment reduction and
UV to remove bacteria and harmful viruses.
The Cartridge is designed to purify up to 65,000
litres of water. Recommended replacement every
6 months or if flow is significantly reduced or, taste
and odour is detected when drinking the water.
The filtration system is easy to install, the cartridge
and mounting head can be mounted vertically or
horizontally allowing versatility for install spaces.

required prior to the Microlene purifier in order to make the water safe to drink.

This product holds a 5 Year warranty on Taps and Fittings. The cartridge is a consumable item, warranty for cartridge limited to 6 months for manufacturing defect only. The warranty does not
cover infield service nor c over leaking or leaking damage caused by incorrect installation by plumber. This product should only be installed by a licensed plumber.
