 EPISODE 1: DISTRIBUTORS

1. EXT. PRISON - NIGHT 9:00PM

GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT is 20, 5'6, brown hair and has been
wrongly accused of murdering someone in the street when all
he was trying to do was help them.
GEORGE has escaped from prison and is running across a field
and is being tailed by 3 police officers with alarms going
off in the distance.

GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT (V.O.)

MY name is GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT and
I've been accused for murder...
beat.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
I've been planning my escape ever
since I got here and today is the
day... 28th November 2023... today
is the day I make a difference...
INTRO BEGINS TO ROLL.

2. INT. GEORGE'S APARTMENT - MORNING 8:00AM

(3 weeks later) GEORGE'S alarm is going off but GEORGE is
awake before his alarm goes off. GEORGE begins to get up out
of bed.

CLOSE UP OF GEORGE'S HANDS AS THEY ARE BRUISED AND BLOODY

FROM THE NIGHT BEFORE...
GEORGE reaches for his glass of water and he hits it off the
cabinet it was on and it smashes on the floor.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
(tiredly)
Oh,
small beat.
Shit.
GEORGE then walks over the smashed glass and through his
trashed apartment to get some ice for his hand and gets
something to clean the glass up and gets distracted by a
letter through the door and walks over to pick it up and he
opens it... it's an eviction notice.

BEGIN FLASHBACK:

3. EXT. ROAD - NIGHT 10:00PM

GEORGE is running down the road (with his orange jumpsuit on)
to a secret stash in the bridge where his friend stashed some
cash for him as he was aware of his plan to escape.
STEVEN (V.O.)
GEORGE, there is some things you
will need in a bag on the side of
the bridge, it isn't a lot but it's
enough to get you a place for a
couple of weeks, call me when you
get out, good luck.
GEORGE finds the cash, kisses his cross necklace and carries
on running.
END OF FLASHBACK
 
 

GEORGE screws up the letter and throws it on the floor and

walks towards his kitchen where he picks up his phone and
goes to call STEVEN but doesn't and puts the phone down.

4. EXT. SHOP - DAY 9:00AM

GEORGE is approaching his local shop and as he is approaching
he sees some teenagers dealing drugs and shakes his head
subtly and walks in the shop.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
Morning.
SHOP OWNER nods his head.
GEORGE walks over to the cards as it is his mothers birthday
and buys her a card.
SHOP OWNER
How old is she?

GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT

Old enough.
(chuckles)
SHOP OWNER
(chuckles)
Have a good day.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
See you soon.
GEORGE then leaves the store and notices the teenagers are
gone and walks to where they were and notices a bag of
cocaine a few feet away from where they were and GEORGE picks
it up and takes it and walks home.

5. INT. GEORGE'S APARTMENT - DAY 9:45AM

GEORGE sits down and writes his letter to his mum and places
infront of him and begins to get angry and emotional.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
(crying)
You didn't deserve any of this.
beat.
this is my fault.
GEORGE then smashes up his apartment in rage.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT (CONT'D)
I gotta leave.
GEORGE begins to pack up his stuff.
 
BEGIN FLASHBACK:

6. EXT. ROAD - NIGHT 10:05PM

GEORGE is looking through his bag and putting on the clothes
he has and stuffs the orange jumpsuit in the bag. GEORGE then
continues running.
 
END OF FLASHBACK.

7. INT. WAREHOUSE - DAY 13:00PM

DAVID (THE DIRECTOR'S number 1 man, in charge, dressed in all
black) is talking to the leader THE DIRECTOR (TALL, SHADY,
MASKED, ALL BLACK) and is worrying about the amount of
distributors are being attacked.
DAVID
Sir, more of our distributors were
attacked last night.
THE DIRECTOR
Don't worry about it David.
DAVID
This is the fourth time this week.
THE DIRECTOR
What did I just say.
DAVID
But sir...
THE DIRECTOR then shoots DAVID in the chest and calls over
NOAH (SKINNY, NERVOUS, DRESSED IN ALL BLACK).
THE DIRECTOR
You.
NOAH
(nervously)
Yes sir.
THE DIRECTOR
What is your name?
NOAH
Noah sir.
THE DIRECTOR
Clean this mess up and find who is
putting their nose where it doesn't
belong.
NOAH
Yes sir.
THE DIRECTOR then stands up to walk away and shoots DAVID
again in the chest.
 5.

8. INT. GYM - NIGHT 6:30PM

GEORGE is walking into his gym and starts taking out his
anger on punching bags and is working out.

GEORGE picks up his phone and goes to call STEVEN but STEVEN
doesn't answer so GEORGE leaves him a voice message.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
Hi Steven It's George, just letting
you know I'm out and sorry I
haven't called I've just had a lot
going on. I have an eviction notice
from the place I'm staying at and
wanted to know if you had anywhere
I could crash? Thank you get back
to me as soon as you can.
GEORGE then puts the phone down and gets his things and
leaves the gym.
 

9. EXT. ALLEYWAY - NIGHT 9:00PM

GEORGE is walking home and sees the same 3 teenagers from the
shop and decides to approach them.
TOM
What do you want.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
What are you kids doing.
JOE
Kids.
(chuckles)
Who do you think you are.
JOE then spits on GEORGE.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
You're going down a dark path
dealing this shit.
TOM then laughs and pushes GEORGE.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT (CONT'D)
Don't do this.
JOE
Why, you scared.
 6.

TOM the pulls out a knife and goes to stab GEORGE and GEORGE
deflects it and grabs his wrist and breaks it. A fight then
breaks out between GEROGE and the 3 TEENAGERS. GEORGE beats
all 3.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
I warned you.
SAM
(in pain)
The Boss isn't going to be happy.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
(out of breath)
Who?
SAM then grabs the knife from the floor and tries to stab
himself but GEORGE stops him.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT (CONT'D)
Who is the boss?
SAM
(stuttering)
He pays us to...

GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT

Tell me.
SAM
He pays us to distribute this.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
Where is he.
SAM
We are the distributors, we get
given the drugs and sell them.
TEENAGER 03 then sits up.
SAM (CONT'D)
We have never met him.
TOM
We are so dead.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT
I will find whoever this guy is and
stop him from teenagers like you
selling drugs.
(MORE)
 7.
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT (CONT'D)
Being in the wrong place at the
wrong time is not worth it... Trust
me.
beat
GEORGE EDWARD WRIGHT (CONT'D)
Go home and stop distributing.
JOE
Thank you.
The TEENAGERS then sit up and walk away in pain and the
GEORGE stands up in the centre of the alley way.
