UNIT 1: ADVENTURE CAMP

Title: SUMMER CAMP


Real Life Context:
What if you had all the money to start a summer camp? How would your perfect camp be like? Participate
in this contest to earn U$D 1.000.000 to build your summer camp. Tell us how your ideal camp would be
like, the place, the houses, the activities and counselors. Prepare a portfolio with pictures to show.

Learning Objectives to be Assessed:

● Grammar: Present Continuous and Present Simple


● Time expressions (everyday, on Mondays, etc.)
● Function: expressing camping activities, what students are good or not good at, what they like
and don`t like doing.
● Vocabulary: camping elements, camping activities.
● Fluency and pronunciation.

● Task preparation: responsibility, creativity and presentation.

Task guidelines:

Brainstorming: find information about your ideal summer camp


Select the information you’d like to include and prepare a portfolio
Prepare a video, power point presentation or poster with pictures and key words. Please, don’t
write all your presentation! Remember you are not supposed to read. You have to study and
practice it!
Think of creative activities / comments / pictures to present to your classmates. What can I
say they don’t know about this camp?
