Guidelines for 06 weeks Project Work after 2nd Semester MBA and MBA-FM Objective To expose the students to understand the organization and take up an in depth study of an issue/ problem in the area of specialization. Structure The project work will have two parts Part - A - Corporate Exposure - 40% coverage Part - B - Study of an Issue / Problem Approximate - 60% coverage General Guidelines i. The project work shall be for a period of 06 weeks immediately after II Semester Examinations (as per the dates to be specified by the concerned authority). ii. The University shall receive 3 copies of project reports along with soft copies in CD/DVD (properly marked and enclosed in a CD envelope and attached at the end of the hard copy of the project report) within three weeks after the commencement of the third semester and/or as and when the notification is displayed by the department in this regard. iii. No two students of the School shall work on the altogether same problem in the same organization. In certain exceptional case this condition can be waived off, but the same should be authenticated from the concerned Faculty/ Dean by the student. iv. The student shall seek the guidance of the internal guide on a continuous basis, and the guide shall give a certificate to the effect that the candidate has worked satisfactorily under his/her guidance (as per Annexure). v. On completion of the project work, student shall prepare a report with the following format. a) The Project report shall be prepared using word processor viz. MS Word and to be saved in *.doc format only. b) All the reports shall be printed in the A4 size 1 margin on all sides, Font Size 12 New Times Roman and line spacing of 1.5. No logos of the organization should be used unnecessarily on each page of the report. c) The report shall be hard bound facing sheet (only white colour) or professional printed cover indicating the Title of the Project Work, Name of the organization in which the project was carried, Name of the School, Name of the student, his/her Roll No. and legal statement as mandatory on the cover page along with name of internal & external supervisor and other details as circulated by the concerned from the department (spiral binding not permitted) d) A certificate by the Guide, HOD / Dean of the School indicating the bonafide performance of project by the student to be enclosed. e) An undertaking by the student to the effect that the work is independently carried out by him. f) The certificate from the organization. g) Acknowledgement h) Executive Summary i) Annexure-I (Feedback of the Internal Supervisor/Faculty) j) Annexure-II (Feedback of the External Supervisor/ Organization Supervisor) k) Annexure-III (Feedback of the student)

Sample contents / coverage in the Project Report The project report shall not exceed 100 pages (Part A 40 Pages + Part B 60 Pages) and in extra-ordinary cases not more than 125 pages after approval from the internal supervisor (Part A 50 Pages + Part B 75 Pages)
