My name is Tayler Stacey and I am writing to be considered as a teaching candidate in your

district. I am a graduate from Dakota State University majoring in Elementary Education. I also have
minors in Reading, Educational Technology, and English as a New Language and an Coaching
Endorsement. I am excited to begin my teaching career in your district.

My skills, teaching philosophy, and experience have prepared me to be an exceptional teacher

for your district. I excel in the four core subject areas and pedagogical approaches that are proven
effective with elementary school students. I have strengths in organization, leadership, and
accountability, and I am passionate about promoting the holistic growth of students. My coursework at
DSU has prepared me to equip students with an attitude of lifelong learning as I provide them with a
foundational understanding of the core content areas complemented by relevant technology integration
and literacy. I am also interested in being involved in extracurricular roles in your district to support
students in developing every aspect of themselves.
