ALS 2 OPTIONS

OPTION 1

Students will express arguments in favor and against installing a huge power plant close to the
city. They state the pros and cons of that.

Contents to be included:

a) Emphasizing important information expressions


b) Expressing approval or disapproval expressions
c) Sentences using Future Perfect
d) Sentences using Present Perfect Progressive.
e) Vocabulary on pages 64 & 74

OPTION 2

Students pretend to be documentary reporters presenting a specific wildlife animal migration.


Students will also explain basic theories on it.

Contents to be included:

a) Expressing surprises phrases


b) Expressing hopes expressions
c) Make guesses about the past
d) Using past modals to make inferences
e) Vocabulary on pages 84 & 94

OPTION 3

Students will set a conversation pretending to be from different countries. They must
exchange experiences about their own traditions and talk about the impact of modernity in
their communities.

Contents to be included:
a) Include varied fillers
b) Lack of knowledge expressions
c) Verb + Gerund
d) Verb + Object + Infinitive
e) Vocabulary on pages 104. 105 & 114
