Examine the following five problem statements.

Are they researchable problems as stated? Why or why

not? If a problem statement is not researchable, modify it in such a way that the problem could be studied
scientifically.

A. What are the factors affecting the attrition rate of nursing students?

Researchable problems because the elements influencing nursing student attrition rate include
academic and economical reasons, as well as poor well-being and health, were the primary
causes of attrition. Failure to meet the needs of the therapeutic environment was another
reason.

B. What is the relationship between atmospheric humidity and heart rate in humans?

Researchable problem, because perspiration drains more slowly in humid weather, your body
temperature rises. Furthermore, perspiration causes a drop in blood volume. So, although your
heart continues to try to cool you down, it must simultaneously work harder and quicker to send
that lesser amount of blood to your working muscles. That's why it's critical to restore the fluids
you lose during exercise by drinking lots of water.

C. Should nurses be responsible for inserting nasogastric tubes?

Researchable problem because I believe clinical nurses are responsible for inserting the NGT,
confirming its placement, administering feedings, and monitoring or handling complications.

D. How effective are walk-in clinics?

Researchable problem because walk-in clinics in health care refer to any healthcare
professional who gives service without an appointment Walk-in clinics were initially intended to
provide a healthcare option to individuals who did not have insurance by offering walk-in care
for basic medical services at a fraction of the cost of emergency rooms. Walk-in clinics often
address minor health issues such as the flu and allergies. As a result, these clinics may be
unsuitable for those who have major consequences, such as fractures or chronic illnesses.
Long-term relationships are lacking.

E. What is the best approach for conducting patient interviews?

Researchable problem because as a nursing student you need to apply your strategies, such as
ethical behaviors and analytical dilemmas. On behalf of your skills and the way u communicate
you can achieve the goal that u want to express during the interview of your patient.
