Courmayeur is a little village situated between the italian alps, separated to France by a
tunnel that crosses for 11 km the Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Italy.

My village is situated in Aosta Valley, a autonom region where the second language is
france.
Courmayeur is a tourist locality, where you can walk in the mountains, climb, and especially
ski. In fact this village is very famous for its ski slopes of Plan Checrouit and for the Skyway, a
cable car that from the village of Entreves and reaches the top of Mont Blanc.

Courmayeur is not famous only for ski slopes but also for its side valleys, Val Ferret and Val
Veny, where people go for walks and picnics.

Another place to visit is the Alpine Botanical Garden or the Alpine Museum of the Duke of
Abruzzi, where you can see the history of the alpine of the valley and Mont Blanc.

In conclusion, my village has many places surrounded by nature to visit but also villages,
which I recommend to see on foot or using electric bikes.
