1. WHY ARE ENGINEERS CONSIDERED AN IMPORTANT SEGMENT OF THE
SOCIETY?

Engineers are important simply because they are the one who develops
and improves our way of living because, without the progress of Engineering
practices, no country will evolve and be able to enhance its economy. It is one of
the most significant roles in the current world. It may be from building houses,
designing machines, creating roads and structures, and many more, all aspects
are based on an Engineer who develops ways through his scientific knowledge
and judgment. They are vital in the modern day and age since with them, the
limitations of possibility are endless, and they are constantly making
advancements in any form of development that is greatly benefited by the
people.

2. IN YOUR COMPANY, WHAT AREAS ARE ENGINEERS CURRENTLY

INVOLVED IN? ENUMERATE AND EXPLAIN THEIR FUNCTIONS.

In our company, our engineer is involved in overseeing the project as well as

management duties. His function is as follows:

 Managing budgets, resources, and deadlines – Based on the given partial

payment to start the said project, our Civil Engineer is the one who
manages our finances. And together with our materials engineer, they are
the ones who make the decisions on where and how much to allot to our
resources.
 Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures – With the government
standards regarding safety, our engineer takes care of any health or work
hazards that may arise. They make sure to provide a safe working
environment for the employees.
 Making recommendations – If ever some aspects of the project are not
aligned with the detailed plan by the client, our engineer makes sure to
present alternative solutions to problems.
 Overall seeing of the project – Our engineer is in charge of overseeing the
project itself, on the development and technical and management aspects
