For the week of November 14th to November 16th I will be teaching 10th grade classrooms on the
Colonization of the Americas. I believe it is important to begin with a solid foundation of lecture
instruction to understand the era of history we are covering. The classroom will be able to
achieve the intended goals through personal interaction and through communication. During this
unit I used different methods of instruction to lead students to mastery of knowledge of this unit.

and these different methods will support this lecture as formative assessments. Throughout my
discussion Students will gain a strong understanding of the Who?, What?, Where?, and When?
