The Lima 2019 Pan American and Parapan American Games are the largest international
multidisciplinary sports event and the second most important in the Olympic and Paralympic
circuit in the world. This event ran from July 26 to August 11in Lima, Peru.

The 2019 Parapan American Games, was an international multi-sport event for athletes with
disabilities, celebrated in the tradition of the Parapan American Games. This event ran from
August 23 to September 1 in Lima, Peru.

This event gathers the best athletes of the Americas.

LIMA 2019 GOLD-MEDAL WINNER OBTAINS QUALIFYING MARK FOR TOKYO 2020

Rosbil Guillén, who won the gold medal in the 1500 meters at the Parapan American Games,
obtained a good mark in this distance and qualified for the Paralympic Games.

In my opinion, the sports legacy left by the Games will be reflected in all the districts of Lima.
The Games represent a great challenge and a global showcase in which the city of Lima, Peru
and all of its capacity and benefits as a tourist destination, its investment and the development
of its population, will spread a renewed image as concrete evidence of the excellency, good
management and transparency of the organization.
