To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Anthony Scibelli.

I am a Physical Education Lecturer at SUNY Cortland, where Anthony currently attends.

I have known Anthony for 3 years now, and he continues to impress me with his enthusiasm and
positive attitude toward his schoolwork, his professional work and toward his life in general.
Anthony has always shown maturity beyond his years, along with a great persistence that is needed
to continue to grow and learn.

I have worked with Anthony in many different roles here on campus. He has been my student in a
couple of classes, he is a very active member of our major’s club on campus that I am the faculty
advisor for (Alliance of Physical Education Majors) and I have advised him on a few occasions when
dealing with some life challenges. Anthony is always a wonderful student to have in class and just to
work with in general.

Anthony is a leader in every sense of the word. He works extremely well with his peers and has a
great rapport with all the professors here at Cortland. As you can see by his resume, he has been
extremely involved in our professional organizations at all levels (local, state and national) already!

His self-motivation toward his work and his passion for the field of Physical Education is very
impressive and motivating for others, especially at such a young age. I would consider Anthony a
fabulous candidate for this award. He is a go-getter and just a fabulous human being ☺

Please feel free to call or email me with any questions or further comments.

Sincerely,
