"Amor Patrio," a nationalistic essay by Jose

Rizal, means "Love of one's Country." He wrote
Amor Patrio to express how much he loves our
country, the Philippines, and to remind all
Filipinos that love is within us. One of the words
Jose Rizal said, "Ang taong di marunong
magmahal sa sariling wika mas masahol pa sa
malansang isda," shows that every aspect of
his country, the Philippines, such as language,
people, culture, and everything inside the
country, are all a part of his loving land. That is
why other countries value his work and show
respect for Rizal, who’s like Andrés Bonifacio,
loves his country and is willing to fight for it.
