D. answer the following questions:


1. Ans. In copy/paste command we need to apply Copy and Paste separately. The steps are
Right-click on the selected slide, Select Copy from the shortcut menu then Right-click on a
blank area and choose Paste. The copied slide will appear.
Whereas Duplicate slides command copies the selected slide and paste it. The steps are
Select the slide, then click the New Slide command on the Home tab and choose Duplicate
Selected Slide. A copy of the selected slide appears underneath the original slide.

2. Ans- We can make a presentation more attractive and meaningful by inserting pictures,
ClipArt, Shapes, SmartArt and tables.

3. Ans– SmartArt Graphics does not enhance the look of the text in a presentation. SmartArt is
visual representation of information.

4. Ans– The steps to add designs created with shapes are –


i. On the INSERT tab in the Illustration group, click shapes dropdown and choose a shape.
ii. Drag the corners of the shapes to resize the shape and place the shape to our desired
location.

5. Ans– The steps to create table –


i. Open the presentation where we want to insert a table.
ii. On the INSERT tab in the tables group, from the Table drop-down choose required number
of rows and columns.
iii. Table will be inserted in the presentation.
From the TABLE TOOLS tab we can change the colour, add shading, borders, font style and so
on.
In the tabular format, the data is presented in the form of rows and columns, and this data
positioning makes reading and understanding of the data easier and faster.
6. Ans– Yes. We can run a slide from the middle of the presentation. The steps are –
i. Open the slide from where we want to run the slide.
ii. Click on From Current Slide in the Slide Show group.
Or
Select Slide show view at the bottom of the window.

7. Ans – The steps to use a highlighter to write or mark points while presenting a
presentation–
i. Run the presentation and Right click on the presentation.
ii. Choose Highlighter from Pointer Options.
iii. Then highlight the important areas of the slide.
