“Analysis of A modern English lesson”

Dear students, you have studied at lectures and practical classes in MFLT Classic
(Traditional) and Current trend methods of ELT.

As a test (assessment) of your knowledge, you are invited to carry out Project work
on the topic: “Analysis of A modern English lesson”.

To complete it successfully, you have to follow:

Methodological Tips:

1. Divide into groups of 3 students.

2. Find out a 45-minute English lesson video in the Internet. (Usually these are
demo lessons for the title of “Best Teacher of the Year”, better to have English
lessons conducted by Russian or Kazakh teachers (not Western ones). As an

3. To make up a lesson plan.

4. Make an analysis of an English lesson according to the scheme attached.

5. Deadline: Mid-term 2.
